Ron found his Jeep rusting away in a field and he bought it for a couple hundred dollars. He planned to do nothing more then make it
run so he could beat on it in the bush. That all changed though, when a little clean up work revealed the serial numbers and a
little research revealed he had something special. In fact, Ron had bought a rare 1942 Slat Grill Jeep.
This Jeep was built by the USA for the Canadian Army like thousands more, but it was built early on during a short time period when
Canada ordered their Jeeps with many specials extras and differences then the standard US Jeep. On top of it being very rare the
other amazing fact was its serial number 118754. The serial number meant it was the 18754 Jeep built and if Ron restored it, he
would have the oldest Jeep in Canada.
Eight year of diligent and meticulous work and Ron had a Jeep almost identical to what our heroes would of driven in WWII.
Ron's Jeep is a 1942 Canadian Willys CD LV-242 Serial # 118754.
